Surya Tripathi (Deutschbauer lab, LBNL)
Surya is a PhD student at UC Berkeley. His research primarily focuses on applying genetic tools to human gut bacteria to understand carbohydrate and amino acid metabolism, vitamin production, stress resistance, etc. In his free time, Surya likes to read, travel, hike, and play guitar.
